We're Still Here

Greetings from WARN Central!

There hasn't been much to report recently. A couple "minor" severe
weather
events have occurred recently, but they were not widespread enough to need

net activations. Thanks to all who have helped with the events we have
had.

Just a reminder that the Wilmington, OH office of the National Weather
Service asks that all SkyWarn spotters in the section attend a training
course every couple of years or so. Every year would be better. There
are
only a couple more training opportunities remaining for the Cincinnati
area
this year.

May 11 in Lakeside Park, KY.
May 20 in Butler County

For the latest information on training opportunities, check the Wilmington

NWS's spotter training schedule at
http://www.nws.noaa.gov/er/iln/training98.htm.

Regards,
