Historically, these setups have not been "ideal" for severe weather here
(far south of here is a very different story), but there is enough going
on that the Storms Prediction Center has stayed with it through today.
When/if a severe thunderstorm or tornado watch is issued, a SkyWARN net
will commence. Our primary frequency is 146.88-. We monitor 147.375+
(KY District 6 ARES may host a net based on level and location of
threat) and other regional frequencies as appropriate. If time allows,
we'll notify
the warn-alert email list (hopefully we have the email address to which
to send SMS to your phone) and social media.
If we are monitoring DMR, we will make that known.
If warranted, we'll post another update likely early in the day on Thursday.
