Two events for your "WARN calendar":

Wednesday, 3/26 @ 950am
This will be the annual tornado drill in the state of Ohio.  WARN will
be on the air, looking for checkins (inside or outside the state).
(Yes, 146.88- is working.  It's been in 0-hang time mode so you can't
tell when you kerchunk it.)  The "net" should be very brief, less than
20 minutes.

Friday, 4/4 @ 7pm
The National Weather Service will present the annual spotter training
course for 2008.  This session will be held at the Northeast Office of
the American Red Cross, 10870 Kenwood Rd. in Blue Ash.  All interested
parties are invited, although this is the "unofficial official" ham
radio-themed session, with announcements about WARN and information
about how to get involved.
