After reviewing participation in the WARN weekly and monthly nets, and the

availability of SkyWARN-related training material via other sources, we
have
decided to maintain the once-monthly scheudled WARN nets throughout the
year.

The WARN net will meet on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm,
throughout
the year. The emphasis of the net will be to test the 146.88- repeater,
as well
as interoperability of the N8OXA linked repeater system in SW Ohio and
northern
Kentucky.

Your general amateur radio announcements about meetings, hamfests, and
other
events will still be welcome on the net!

Thanks for your continued interest in SkyWARN. Your feedback on this
decision
and WARN in general is always welcome.
