GCARA amateur radio classes

For the many of you that we have seen at various spotter courses who were
interested in amateur radio license classes, we promised to continue
forwarding any information on classes we are aware of (as has been our
custom.)
Here is information we recently received on an upcoming class.

The Greater Cinti Amateur Radio Assoc. and cosponsor Maple Knoll ARC will
be
conducting Amateur Radio classes for radio enthusiasts who wish to take
advantage of the new amateur radio licensing structure.
Classes beginning on Saturday morning, April 7th. at 0900 running through
May ending with FCC exams on Sat. June 2. Location is Maple Knoll Village
Retirement Center, Springdale, OH. 11200 Springfield Pk (RT. 4). (Between
Sharon Ave. and Northland Blvd.). Entrance at Maple Trace Dr. (traffic
light and guard house). Enter front door of assisted living bldg. (11200),
proceed to Art Studio near WMKV-FM Station. Handicap accessible.
The first class will consist of review of the coming classes and course
material. Later sessions will cover technical topics beginning at 9 AM
with
Morse code offered at about 10:30 AM.
