More Spotter Training Sessions

We recently sent a message announcing the annual training session the we
(WARN) sponsor. Cincinnati area Ham radio operators are strongly
encouraged to attend this class. I won't repeat all the details, since we
just sent them out. If you need the information again, check our web site
at http://www.warn.org, or contact me at mailto:mnie at fuse.net.

Now, on with the new information. For people who can't attend our
session,
there will be ample other opportunities. The National Weather Service in
Wilmington has now opened their 1999 Training Page on their web site. Our
training page links to it under "More Training Opportunities". You can go
directly there by visiting http://www.nws.noaa.gov/er/iln/training99.htm.
I'm sure this page will be updated with much more information over the
coming weeks, so check back often to find the session that matches your
schedule.

Reminder: The Wilmington Office of the NWS recommends that all spotters
attend a training session every year or two to maintain your active status
and learn the latest about the spotter program.
