Summer 2023 begins with the possibility of severe weather on Sunday:
https://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/outlook/day2otlk.html

For the amateur radio operators out there, or those who are interested
in becoming involved, the timing is interesting because this weekend is
Field Day -- an annual exercise where ham radio operators throughout the
US and Canada set up "field" operations and
attempt to make contact with many others doing the same thing, via
"voice", "data", and even Morse code.

So the uncertain timing on Sunday is likely a concern.   The "go time"
for the exercise is 2pm EDT Saturday till 2pm EDT Sunday, with "setup"
before and "tear down" after that.

Speaking of Field Day...and at the risk of neglecting some of the fine
operations out there, here are a few in Southwest Ohio that would make a
fun visit to learn more about the hobby if you've been considering it (I
intend to visit all of these if I don't run out of time):

Queen City Emergency Net        2111 Dana Ave. (Red Cross) / 45207
Oh-Ky-In ARS                    5401 Zion Rd. (Mitchell Memorial Forest)
/ 45002
West Chester ARA                8070 Tylersville Rd. (VOA Museum) / 45069
Butler County ARA               2131 Millville Ave. / 45013
Clinton County ARA              1020 Farmers Rd. / 45177
Highland ARA                    810 Levo Rd. / 45159
DeForest ARC                    923 Sunrise Ave. (Adams County Health
Dept.) / 45693

Be safe out there!
