- there were more tornado surveys required this year, than any other 
year in ILN's history (ie since 1996)

- 16 distinct "severe weather events" this year

- La Niña will impact winter weather...repeat of last, with a cool 
autumn, and more precip than average, generally.  Expect a slight 
warm-up towards the end of winter.

- Winter Weather Awareness week is November 13-19.

- gust fronts were a factor this year, and moved unusually far ahead of 
thunderstorms.  Net control will emphasize wind damage reports ahead of 
"parent" thunderstorms in 2012.

- SkyWARN Recognition Day is 7pm on Friday, 12/2 till 7pm on 12/3. ILN 
will be on the air with net controls as ops, other guests invited 
too--contact me for details.

- Dayton SkyWARN repeater (146.64-) is much (much much) improved.

- Columbus SkyWARN repeater (146.76-) got major remote receiver upgrade.
