[warn-news] Spotter Training and Severe Wx

There are two spotter training courses in the WARN (Cincinnati) area this
week.

Note:  These are the last two spotter training sessions scheduled for the
WARN (Cincinnati) area this year, at least at this time.

 

Also, please be aware that the Storms Prediction Center has placed us in a
slight risk of severe weather tomorrow, with the moderate risk just west of
Cincinnati including our western-most counties.  Some indications are
pointing to a potentially significant severe weather outbreak.  Everyone
should stay alert to local media, NOAA all-hazards radio, and weather
conditions.  Spotter activation may be needed tomorrow (Tuesday) or tomorrow
night.

 

In the event of severe weather, the spotter class may be postponed, as has
occurred with other classes this season.  If severe weather is forecast or
occurring in the area, check on the status of the class at
http://www.weather.gov/iln/training.php or check with the hosting agency.
