The Meteorology Club at Ohio State University is sponsoring a Severe Weather
Symposium. This information comes from the OSU Meteorology Club President
Steve Levine:
The club is sponsoring the Ohio Severe Weather Symposium next Friday April
11 in Columbus. It's free to attend, and there are always a few storm
spotters who want to attend. One of the speakers is Rich Apuzzo, former
Channel 19 meteorologist and currently with Skyeye Weather, a private
consulting service. Mike Ryan from the Wilmington forecast office may also
give a tornado climatology presentation.
There is a website with a list of speakers and a prelim schedule (should be
finalized by tomorrow) at the following website:
http://geog-www.sbs.ohio-state.edu/metclub/symposium/ There is a link from
ILN's website as well.
Anyone planning on attending please RSVP through the web page by next
Wednesday so they can anticipate the crowd and make name tags.
