[warn-news] Severe Weather Drills This Week

There are statewide severe weather drills in Kentucky and Indiana this week.

March is Severe Storm Preparedness Month in Kentucky. Kentucky's statewide
tornado drill is on Tuesday March 7 at 10:07AM EST

Indiana's Severe Weather Preparedness Week is March 5 - 11. There will be
two statewide drills on Wednesday March 8. One is between 10:00 and 10:30 AM
EST, and the other is between 7:00 and 7:30 PM EST.

Schools, businesses and individuals are encouraged to use these events to
test their preparedness for severe weather.  Severe weather season is just
about here.  Are YOU ready?

WARN will be on the air for weather nets on the usual radio frequencies.
All ham radio operators are encouraged to check-in.  We will forward the
number of check-ins per county to the National Weather Service.
