There are two Severe Weather Spotters' Training Classes in the WARN
coverage
area this week.
Wednesday, March 3, 2004 7:00PM
Owen County, KY
Owenton Fire Department
For more information, contact the Owen County EMA at 502-484-2791.
Thursday, March 4, 2004 7:00PM
Hamilton County, OH
Harrison Community Center
300 George Street
For further information, contact the Hamilton County EMA at 513-851-7080
Training season is passing by rapidly. Many courses have already been
held.
Future training opportunities will be fewer and fewer. Severe weather
will
be here before you know it. If you want to attend a spotter training
class,
we recommend you mark your calendar now. You DO NOT have to attend in
your
own county. If you attend any class in the 52 county area covered by the
Wilmington, Ohio office of the NWS, the certification is good for the
entire
area. You can see the remainder of the course schedule at
http://www.erh.noaa.gov/er/iln/training04.htm.
