Greetings from WARN central.

This message is primarily for our readers in the Cincinnati area. (Yes,
we
have numerous subscribers from around the country and all over the world.)

We would like to invite anyone interested in weather to attend a
presentation by Mike Buresh, Meteorologist from WKRC-TV channel 12. Mike
will be showing us some videos of interesting weather events. As time
permits, he will also explain a little about how a TV weathercast is
prepared. Mr. Buresh has presented similar programs for us in the past,
and they are always very entertaining. He has video that will amaze you.
This is NOT a severe weather spotter's certification course. It is
intended solely for its entertainment value.

The program will be on Friday, March 19, 1999 at 8:00 p.m. EDT. The
location is the American Red Cross Building at 720 Sycamore Street, in
Downtown Cincinnati. For HAM radio operators, talk-in will be available
on
the 147.24+ repeater. On-street and off-street parking is available
around
the building. This presentation is part of the monthly meeting of the
Queen City Emergency Net, a Red Cross Affiliated amateur radio
organization.

If you have any questions about this event, please contact Mike Nie by
eMail at mnie at fuse.net, or phone at 513-741-9068.
